From Green to Fall
Clara Martin Center is hosting an art and writing show entitled “From Green to Fall: Celebrating Creativity in Mental Health, Wellness and Recovery” at Chandler Art Gallery in Randolph from September 15 – November 5, 2017. The art show features local artists who are friends of mental health, particularly from the Orange County and Upper Valley area.
There will be an opening reception, including poetry readings, on Friday, September 29, 2017 from 4:30-7pm at the gallery.
In continuing on the theme of celebrating creativity, Clara Martin Center will also host the fabulous Me2/ Orchestra on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 6:30pm at the Chandler Music Hall.
Founded in Burlington, Vermont, the Me2/Orchestra is the only classical music organization in the world for musicians with mental illnesses and those who support them. Led by a once world-renowned conductor whose own career was shattered by his diagnosis of bipolar disorder, the Me2/Orchestra’s exhilarating performances challenge societal stereotypes about mental illness.
Clara Martin Center is a local non-profit organization, providing mental health and substance abuse services to Orange County and greater Upper Valley communities.
