These Green Mountains
April 29 through June 17
Chandler Center for the Arts annual Area Artists Show These Green Mountains opens with a reception this Sunday, April 30, from 4 - 6 pm at Chandler Gallery.
Local artists and craftspeople have submitted paintings, prints, photographs, sculpture, collage, and more. The exhibit will feature a wood vessel form in carved mahogany by local fine craftsman David Hurwitz. Randolph artist Kristen Johnson will show her intricate and delicate paper cuts of wildflowers. Norwich printmaker Sue Schiller will present unique 3-dimensional organic prints evoking forests and primordial beginnings. Many of the exhibiting artists will be available at the reception to talk about their work, and musicians Robin Russell and friends will be on hand with lively traditional folk tunes. Beverages and snacks will be available.
The show will be up through June 17. Gallery open hours are Saturdays and Sundays, 12 - 6 pm, and during Chandler performances.
