The Chandler Center for the Arts in Randolph, Vermont invites craft artists, fine artists, and producers of specialty food items to submit their work for consideration for inclusion in its annual Holiday Artisans Market. The juried show, offering a beautiful and eclectic selection of fine art, crafts, and local products, will be celebrating its 15th year.
This year's Market will be open from November 17 through December 21, 2016, during regular gallery hours. It will occupy Chandler's Main Gallery, an elegant space perfect for showcasing handmade work. The Gallery Committee strives to present a range of work that exemplifies the talent and skill of area artisans and local food producers.
The Market has earned a reputation as an exciting place to shop for holiday gifts and this year's event will be no different. The Chandler is looking forward to presenting work by both perennial favorites and new exhibitors to bring a satisfying shopping experience to area residents and visitors to the region.
Not only does shopping at the Holiday Market offer one the opportunity to show one's support for local, independent businesses, but also to help raise funds for future programming and exhibits at the Chandler. Those interested in submitting work for consideration by the Gallery Committee should complete the application at www.chandler-arts.org. The deadline for submissions is September 30, 2016. All applicants must submit a completed form to be considered. First-time applicants are required to submit images of work - please see the application for more details. Product samples may also be dropped off in person at the Chandler. Previous exhibitors are only required to complete an application, provided that submitted work is the same. The Gallery Committee will meet in early October to review all submissions. Applicants will be notified of their participation in the Market by mid-October. Available space after that time will be filled at the committee's discretion.
